We LOVE reading!
The children in M5 simply LOVE reading and they are learning to be fantastic 'Independent Learners!'
Today we talked about our responsibilities as a learner when we are reading independently.
We decided on some important things to think about when we are doing this and made up a 'T' chart with what we should do.

Writing in Sunshine!
What a beautiful Summer we have been having and today was simply too gorgeous to be stuck inside all day... so where better to do our writing? Outside under the trees!
This term, as part of our Writing programme we are doing 'Recount' writing.
We are learning the structure and language features of writing a recount of an event or something that has happened in the past.
We loved writing outside today and we hope we have many more warm, sunny days where we can do some more writing in the sunshine!
